Hut 8 Canada - Remote Hands

24/7 On-Site Support,
On Your Direction

Physical, on-site support for tenants who manage their own infrastructure but need skilled hands in the building around the clock.

What Remote Hands Is

Remote Hands is physical work inside the data centre performed by Hut 8 Canada staff on behalf of a tenant, at the tenant's direction. It is not a managed service; you retain full operational control. We are the hands.
No remote access, no managed service, no dependency on us beyond the facility; just fast, competent execution at the hardware layer, available from day one of your colocation agreement.

Frequently Asked

Common questions about Hut 8 Canada Remote Hands

FAQ

Q
Is Remote Hands available if I have an emergency at 2am on a Saturday?
A

Yes. Remote Hands is available 24/7/365. Emergency requests are escalated immediately to the on-site operations team; you are not routed through a helpdesk. Response SLAs for emergency requests are defined in your colocation agreement.

Q
Is Remote Hands a managed service?
A

No. Remote Hands is physical execution at your direction; you tell us what to do, we do it. You retain full operational control of your infrastructure. If you're looking for a fully managed service instead, see Managed AI Solutions for AI workloads specifically.

Q
How is Remote Hands priced?
A

Remote Hands is typically included in your colocation agreement up to a defined monthly allotment, with additional requests billed per incident. Contact us for the specifics of your tier.

Q
What happens to managed cloud, backup and disaster recovery services?
A

Those services are now delivered by Opti9 Technologies, which acquired Hut 8 Canada's managed cloud business in September 2026. Opti9 operates from Hut 8 Canada data centres under a multi-year colocation agreement. Existing clients should expect direct communication from Opti9. Hut 8 Canada is now focused entirely on colocation, connectivity and managed AI.
